Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his showmanship - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's largest money-making draws, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary confrontation, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually happening.
